Deposit

No deposit is required if you are a parent or guardian of a child at Crowthorne C of E School.

A £30 deposit is required to hire this Party Pack if you are not a parent or guardian of child at Crowthorne C of E School. This deposit will be taken in cash or cheque (made payable to Friends of Crowthorne C of E) at the time of agreed hire and handover of the Party Pack. If no deposit is provided at this time, we will not be able to hand over the Party Box and your hire amount will not be refunded.

Hire Terms & Conditions

We have tried to make these Terms and Conditions as easy as possible so the hiring process is as simple for you while also safeguarding the property of The Friends of Crowthorne C of E.

All of our tableware is child friendly, so it shouldn’t break easily. If you do manage to break an item, we will simply charge you for the purchase price of the item to cover it’s replacement.

1. All hired equipment remains the property of ‘Friends of Crowthorne C of E’.

2. No responsibility will be accepted for injury through the use of the hired equipment.

3. The hire charges are for a period of four days from the day of delivery. If you require the items for longer, please let us know at the time of delivery and we’ll confirm if that is possible.

4. The hirer is required to collect the ‘Party Pack’ from an address in Crowthorne provided to the hirer at the time of booking.

5. The hirer is responsible for any losses, breakages or damage to items in the Party Pack. All losses will be charged at a replacement cost of:

   • Single plate/bowl/cup: £0.25

   • Single jug: £2.50

   • Single platter: £1.00

   • Cutlery set (knife, fork and spoon): £0.50

6. It is a condition of supply that, in the absence of definite proof to the contrary, our count at our premises is final as to the quantity and condition of the returned goods.

7. All hired items shall be returned clean.

8. A cancellation charge will be made if an order is cancelled or reduced within 7 days of the hire date at 50% of the order value - £5.00

9. The liability of Friends of Crowthorne C of E for failure due to circumstances beyond our control to fulfil any contract shall be limited to a waiver of any charges due by the customer up to the maximum hire cost of the ‘Party Pack’.

10. No credit or refund will be given for non-collection/use of the ‘Party Pack’.

11. The items will arrive packed in a box suitable for their return and the hirer is expected to return the items in the same box to an address in Crowthorne provided at the time of booking. It is the responsibility of the hirer to return the ‘Party Pack’ on the forth day following it’s receipt.

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act, we are the Data Controller (i.e. the company/charity who is responsible for, and controls the processing of, your personal data). We will obtain and process personal data about you (including your name, address, email address and phone number) to assist us in the processing of your enquiry and providing you with the service you require.
